Stonier, a pioneering winery, one of the first in the region, situated on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsular, about an hour’s drive southeast of Melbourne. Stonier was established in 1978 by Brian Stonier and his wife Noel in the coastal town of Merricks. They are renowned for being one of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay producers in Australia. The cool maritime climate is ideal for these noble varieties, and they making wines from some of the oldest vines in the region, using the Burgundian model of expression of the vineyard site, reflecting the imprint of the terroir - they produce four single vineyard Pinot Noirs
