Italy

Italy makes some of the worlds finest wines, from both native and international grape varieties. Some of the best native grapes in our opinion are Pecroino, Catarratto, Falanghina, Dolcetto, & Corvina (Amarone). Of course, perhaps some of the most famous wines come from the Tuscan hills under the guise of Super Tuscan wines, produced mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon, a grape omitted from the list to qualify as DOCG, DOC & IGT Tuscan wine. The most famous Super Tuscan wines being Sassicaia, Masseto, Solaia, Ornellaia & Tignanello.
