  1. Prices
All wines are quoted per 75cl bottle (unless otherwise stated). Prices include UK duty and UK Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable at the time of payment. All goods are offered subject to availability. Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted.

2. Payment

Payment is made through PayPal - you do not have to join PayPal scheme

We accept, Visa / MasterCard / American Express

If preferred, credit card details can be given over the telephone

We can accept payment by cheque and bank transfer but we reserve the right to withhold dispatch until the funds are cleared.

Accounts can be set up for corporate / wholesale customers


3. UK - Delivery Charges and Time Schedule
The following delivery charge apply:
7.50 if less than 180.00 per delivery address to Mainland UK normal delivery, and will be delivered next day (Monday - Friday excluding Bank Holidays) providing the order is received by 1:00 pm UK time and stock is available.

ORDERS OVER 36 bottles may incur additional delivery charges and will be quoted before dispatching

Orders received after 1:00pm UK time will be DISPATCHED on the following working day and delivered as above.

Deliveries will be made during OFFICE HOURS ON WEEK-DAYS.

We do not guarantee the time of day for standard deliveries. However, you can select the following at extra cost. Orders 180.00 + will have a reduced rate

Before 09:30 at 22.00 / 14.50 if order over 180.00
Before 12:00 at 15.00 / 7.50 if order over 180.00

SATURDAY DELIVERY is 22.00 / 14.50 and delivery should be made before 12:00

Delivery charge to
NORTHERN IRELAND, SCOTTISH ISLANDS & ISLE OF MAN is 17.00 / 9.50 if order over 180.00

CHANNEL ISLANDS is 55.00, 48.00 if order is over 180.00

SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS -  you may leave special delivery instructions (e.g. leave in garage or neighbour etc.) and we will pass these instructions to our carriers, however, neither we nor the carriers will accept responsibility should the wines be lost, stolen, or damaged as a result.

4. World - Delivery Charges
Hailsham Cellars delivers worldwide. Please select Worldwide delivery option in order process and we will quote

Please note USA states will not except alcohol if you do not hold a current liquor  import license and could be destroyed  on arrival. Please check with your local authorities before ordering. Delivery will be at your own risk.

5. Returns / Guarantees / Cancellation
We will provide a full refund for any wines that are deemed to be out of condition. We may require these wines to be returned to us and will ensure that all costs are credited.

Please check your delivery for any discrepancies, these must be reported within  30 days.                                                            Any breakages will be replaced free of charge, providing the carrier has been informed at the time of delivery and we must be advised   of breakages or shortages within three days of the delivery date.

Cancellation - You have the right to cancel your order, for any reason, within 7 working days from the day you receive the goods. You will however have to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. We will refund the balance of your money within 30 days of any cancellation.

7. Order confirmation
When an order is placed, a confirmation of the order will be emailed back to you shortly afterward.
Please note, our confirmation email is AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED. Please check your 'spam folder' as occasionally, certain servers filter it out as 'spam' and ban it. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please inform us and we will send one manually.

8. Vintages and Availability
Hailsham Cellars will always try to ensure that wines are of the vintages quoted on our list. However if one vintage becomes exhausted, the next available vintage will replace it. We will contact you and inform you of the change for your approval

Approximately 85% of products are in stock at any time, if a particular product ordered is out of stock and not expected in within 5 working days you will be advised as to when the goods are likely to be despatched. An alternative product may be offered and we will inform you for your approval.

9. Security policy
All personal details will be kept strictly private and confidential and will not be shared with any other party.
We take great care to ensure that our own computer systems are protected by up to date firewalls and anti-virus programs.

Our site uses "cookies" to store information about your use on our website. We store this information for your convenience and to save time on any future visits. If you do not wish our site to store information in this way, please set your browser software to block "cookies"


10. Privacy policy

We collect information about you in order to:-

- process online orders
- provide our couriers with delivery name, address & contact details
Hailsham Cellars do not pass on any personal details to other third parties.

11. Title & Risk
Ownership of the goods shall not pass to the Buyer until they are fully paid for but the risk in the Goods shall be borne by the Buyer from the date of the delivery by the Seller or it's agent to the buyer.
